Empowerment Healing (EH) is an online social group that provides a wide range of online and locally based events for like minded people interested in health and wellbeing. Whether you are someone who wishes to learn more about it, or someone who wishes to deepen their own understanding and practices. From beginner to professional, EH has something for everyone!

EH was formally known as 'The Melbourne Spirituality Meetup Group (MSMG)'. But has since changed its name to reflect its expanding interests in spirituality, and to cater for the ever-growing needs of its members. Established in 2006 by the visionary founder, Adam, EH is one of the biggest spiritual meetup groups of its kind. It has been at the forefront of its field and continues to offer events that both stimulate, educate and expand the consciousness of the human spirit.

EH events offer great opportunities for people to share knowledge and wisdom with each other in a safe, friendly and supportive environment. This group is based on a non-religious, non-denominational approach. It is open to everyone, regardless of age (you must be 18+ years of age), gender, culture or religion.

What does EH stand for?

EH aims to provide many opportunities for both the general public and for practitioners (both professional and non-professional) to exchange knowledge and wisdom with each other. EH's vision is to act as a social network whereby members can access, publish and promote information that advocates a sense of health and wellbeing. By empowering and uniting people in this way EH hopes to raise the conscious vibrations of this planet, and as a result, create a beautiful place for many future generations to co-exist. As such the governing principles behind EH and what it stands for are:

* sustainable community living
* adhering to coherent moral and ethical values which cultivate love and compassion to all living things
* preserving ancient wisdom and culture
* empowering education (such as life skill development) into the hearts and minds of our future generation

What events does EH meetup run?

There are many events which EH runs. To give you some idea on the sort of events that are being organised, here is a list of just a few which have been held in the past. Please remember that new events are being updated continuously. For more information please refer to the online calendar.

Unless otherwise stated, RSVP's are due 3 days prior to the event date. All members are required to adhere to a set of rules and code of conduct. This is to ensure that everyone is treated fairly and with equal respect. Events are run both at regular and irregular intervals, so keep posted on the online calendar for a list of previously held and upcoming events.

What's in it for me as a valued member?

There are many benefits though to becoming a EH member. You will have full access to all of EH's online features, including; emailing, the message board, photos, calendar, members profiles, polls, surveys, feedback forms FREE downloads, online chat room, and files.

Best of all, membership is FREE!

The cost of each event will vary depending on the organiser who runs it. Some will charge a donation fee, while others will charge a fixed amount. EH acknowledges that everyone has different financial comittments, and that such commitments may change due to many factors. As such EH is dedicated to providing high quality events at an affordable cost. For more information please contact the organiser directly or visit their event listings on the calendar section.

How can I make a contribution to the group?

There are many other ways in which as a EH member you can make valuable contributions towards the group. Such as:

(1) Posting messages online allows you to communicate with like minded people and voice your own opinion about particular areas of discussion. Its also a great way to promote your own practices and support others on their own journey.

(2) Telling other people about Empowerment Healing. Just go to the promote section or refer them to our website.

(3) Attending events is great for those who wish to meet either online and/or in person and share knowledge and wisdom with each other.

(4) Filling out online polls which helps EH run high quality events more often

(5) Letting us know what you think by filling out the EH online survey

(6) Giving us feedback on EH via the online form

(7) Why not join our mailing list and keep up to date with all the local and international gossip

(8) Chat online with other like minded members.

(9) You can download the latest version of skype and chat online (the founders username is 'nexusads')

(10) You can make a voluntary donation either in person, via direct deposit or through our paypal online donation

How can I become actively involved in the community?

How can I become a host?

Do you wish to host your own EH event?
Do you want to save on traveling costs?
Do you wish to receive satisfaction in knowing that you have made a valuable contribution towards the group?

If you answered yes to any of these then why not become a host? Their role is to offer venues in which events may be held in. This allows EH to provide more events more often while keeping running costs low as possible.


How can I become an organiser?

Do you want to organise and list your own events?
Do you want to be part of a dynamic spiritual team of organisers who support and empower each other?
Do you wish to receive ongoing support in running events?
Do you wish to develop your own personal and professional skills, such as building self esteem, leadership and event management?

If you answered yes to any of these then why not become an official EH organiser?

As such you will have the ability to create, run and monitor your own events. All event listings must be submitted to the EH founder prior to being published on the online calendar. This is to ensure that the listing is appropriate to EH members and is in alignment with the EH code of conduct and ethical principles.

The founder reserves the right to:
- remove any event listing which they deem inappropriate or offensive
- modify the terms and conditions in which the event listing is published
