The Melbourne Spirituality Meetup Group (also known as MSMG) is an online social group that runs various spiritual events around melbourne. Its purpose is to support those people who are interested in learning more about spirituality or who wish to deepen their own spiritual practice. These social events also offer great opportunities for people to share knowledge and wisdom with each other in a safe, friendly and supportive environment. This group is based on a non-religious, non-denominational approach. It is open to everyone, regardless of age (you must be 18+years), gender, culture or religion

What events do we run?

There are many events which MSMG runs. To give you some idea on the sort of events that are being organised, here is a list of just a few which have been held in the past. Please rememeber that new events are being updated continuously. For more information please refer to the events section.

Whats in it for me?

There are many benefits though to becoming an MSMG member. You will have full access to all of MSMG's online features, including the message board, event viewing, emailing, polls, FREE downloads and files. You are entitled to special discounts when attending events. You will also have the option to receive regular event reminders and details on message board discussions. Best of all, membership is FREE!

For every event you attend you will be charged a small event fee. Event fees may vary depending on the activity, location and expenses involved. These fees cover the basic costs, such as: website hosting, advertising, equipment and venue hire. These fees also enable the group to grow, expand and provide high quality events to all its members. So your contribution is very much appreciated :) For specific fees on events please visit the calendar section. Unless otherwise stated, RSVP's are due a week prior to the event date. Preferred method of payment is direct deposit (please ask us for bank details). Other methods of payments include cash and cheque. Some events may be paid through credit card via paypal, however, please check with the organiser first before proceeding. When making direct deposit please include your full name and name of the event.

All members are required to adhere to set of rules and code of conduct. This is to ensure that everyone is treated fairly and with equal respect. Please refer to the files section of this site.

How can I contribute?

There are many ways in which you can offer contributions to MSMG. As a valued member you are already making a contribution by sharing your knowledge with likeminded people and attending events of interest. Here are some other ways in which you can help...

(1)Posting messagesonline allows you to communicate with likeminded people and voice your own opinion about areas of discussion
(2) Chat in the online chat room

(4) Attending events is great for those who wish to meet in person and share knowledge and wisdom with each other
(5) Filling out polls/surveys helps MSMG run better events more often
(6) Letting us know what you think by filling out the MSMG online survey
(7) Giving us feedback on MSMG via the online form
(8) Those hosting an event are able save on travelling and are exempt from the MSMG fees
(9) Becoming an official MSMG assistant organiser and running your own events

CHARITY DONATIONS

Empowerment Healing recognises the important role that many charity organisations play in supporting both local and global communities. As well as addressing the many issues that affect our planet today. Such as poverty, homelessness, family disfunction, animal welfare, environmental conservation, medical health and education.
